Stranger At The Crossroads

blindlesly waiting
waiting on the lonely road
a stranger in white
lends me her hand and showed me what she knows

she began to sing a sinful tune
with a cold black look in her eyes
her voice erupted with a lustful rage
and took me by surprise

her voice burned up the night sky
that haunting tone made my heart still
i asked her to teach me what she knew
and she said man go do my will

a kiss on the lips with a fiery touch
it grasped my soul within
as my voice sang a song of monstrous tales
i could tell this girl was sin

my heart soon filled with a flaming pain
to the ground my body slammed
have mercy on me i pleaded
she whispered no sympathy for the damned

now i wait on these crossroads alone
waiting for the next innocent hand
and when they ask for forgivness
i'll whisper no sympathy for the damned
